Andrew Gilhespy was inspired to create the Fresh Flour Company and their delicious range of flours, pastas, noodles, crackers and biscuits, after attending Schumacher College and being mentored by some of the UK’s most visionary artisan millers and bakers.
They only use English heritage and ancient wheats. They work in partnership with organic farmers, or farmers who don’t spray. They pay them fairly and realistically. They mill the grains they grow into flour on our premises. We make all of our own products. They only use other ethically sourced, natural ingredients.

The result is an amazing range of foods that you will find a joy to explore.
Be prepared to be inspired and to have your taste buds reawakened.
All the pasta is milled and made in Devon, using stone ground UK wheat and filtered Dartmoor water. Mixed together in their pasta machines, it is shaped and cut using bronze dies. The result is a food that is both traditional and yet cutting-edge contemporary and with a remarkable taste.
